Detailed information on Cookies

Details are given below of what cookies are, how we use them and share them with third parties, what their purpose is and how they can be disabled. Please read the following information carefully.

What are cookies?

Cookies are strings of text which the website sends to the browser, where they are installed to facilitate consultation. Cookies, which do not damage the device in any way, are installed automatically unless the user browsing the website (“User”) has expressly disabled the function.

Use of cookies

Our website www.homemania.net (“Site”) uses cookies to make its services simple and efficient for the User.

If the cookies are disabled some of our services might not work correctly and some pages might not be displayed.

The Site uses various types of cookies; some for making the use of the Site more efficient, others for enabling certain functions, as indicated below.

Data Controller

The Data Controller is Homemania S.r.l. in the person of the pro tempore legal representative with headquarters in Via Mazzolari, 30 – 25019, Sirmione.

The installation of cookies and other tracking systems operated by third parties by means of the services used inside this Site cannot be technically controlled by the Data Controller, so any specific reference to cookies and tracking systems installed by third parties is only to be considered indicative. In order to obtain complete information, consult the privacy policies of any third party services listed in this document.

The User is invited to contact the Data Controller (through the contact details given in this document) in order to receive further information regarding the use of cookies and any of their uses – for example by third parties – carried out by means of this Site.

Types of Cookies we use:

1. TECHNICAL COOKIES

This type of cookie is strictly necessary for correct operation of the Site. Technical cookies are necessary in order to transmit content on an electronic communication network, that is, to provide a service explicitly requested by the User.

The consent of the User is not required to install technical cookies since the cookies are installed by default once the Site is accessed.

However, the User may disable the technical cookies at any time, by modifying the browser settings (ref. infra).

If the cookies are disabled some of our services might not work correctly and some pages might not be displayed.

The Technical Cookies include:

- navigation cookies, i.e. those necessary to use the webpages; these cookies are normally deleted once the online session has ended;

- functional cookies, i.e. those installed with the sole purpose of allowing the User to save the preferences for setting up the browsing according to a series of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchasing) in order to improve the service provided to the User. These cookies, by their very nature, are persistent and are not therefore deleted at the end of the session but are stored for a predetermined duration.

2. PROFILING COOKIE

These cookies are necessary to create user profiles for various purposes, in line with the preferences shown by the User when browsing the Internet.

The Profiling Cookies include:

- advertising cookies, i.e. those which create profiles relative to the User in order to send advertisements to him/her (by displaying special pages in the browser) in line with the preferences shown whilst browsing the Internet;

- remarketing cookies, i.e. those installed in order to send advertisements to the User for products similar to those previously searched for, or for analysing the trend of a publicity campaign.

As it is a tool suitable for using the User’s data in an invasive manner, it is always necessary for prior explicit consent to be given for the installation of this type of cookie. Once the Site is accessed a pop up window or a banner will be visible, informing the User that:

- the Site uses profiling cookies, also from third parties and that

- by accepting and/or continuing the browsing consent is given to the use of the cookies collected in this way within the limitations indicated in this Privacy Policy and those of third parties.

The consent given in this way can always be revoked and we will keep track of it by means of a special technical cookie, which will also avoid the User having to give consent every time the Site is accessed again.
